Delete your Pookie CA account
App: Pookie CA (Android, package com.pookieai.app) · Developer: AiSACA · Support: [email protected]
You can delete your Pookie CA account and the personal data linked to it at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1: Delete inside the app (fastest)
- Open the Pookie CA app and sign in.
- Go to the Me tab.
- In the Account section, tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
Deleting the account cannot be undone.
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have the app installed, or cannot sign in, email us:
- Write to [email protected] with the subject Delete my Pookie CA account.
- Send it from the email address of the account you used to sign in.
- We check that the request comes from that address. We will not ask for your password, card details or identity documents. If the request comes from a different address, we will reply to the account's email address to confirm it is really you before we delete anything.
- We confirm by email once deletion is complete.
We complete verified requests within 30 days (usually much sooner).
What we delete
- Your sign-in account (your email address and, if you used Google sign-in, your name).
- Your profile: CA level, exam target, subjects and goal marks.
- Your study progress and entitlement records stored on our servers.
- Reports you sent about AI replies.
Settings, notes and reading preferences stored only on your phone go when you delete your account in the app or uninstall it. We keep chat messages and AI replies in our AI Gateway logs for up to 7 days (see our Privacy Policy).
What we keep, and for how long
- Backups: deleted data may remain in encrypted backups until they are overwritten, within 90 days. It is not used for anything and is not restored to a live account.
- Transaction records: if you bought a plan on our website, invoices and payment records are kept for 8 years because Indian tax law requires it. The Pookie CA app itself has no purchases.
- Analytics: where usage analytics are collected, events are linked to a random identifier rather than your name or email, and events already recorded are kept only in that de-identified form.
- Legal and security: anything we must keep to comply with law or to prevent fraud and abuse.
